محصولات سری IES-1248-5x/IES-1248-5xA زایکسل دارای منبع تغذیه DC بوده و از فناوری IP Based استفاده می‌کنند.‌ این دستگاه‌ DSLAM تمام مدارهای ATM را از طریق ترافیک شبکه به سرویس‌های رایج IP باند پهن منتقل می‌کند. در این محصولات زایکسل IP راهکار طبیعی انتقال اطلاعات که این امر باعث برتری این روش  نسبت به شیوه ATM DSL شده است.
